$1B skyscraper home in India has 27 stories

MUMBAI, India (KABC) -- A house in India is so big it requires 600 staffers to take care of it.

The skyscraper in Mumbai has 27 stories and is 570 feet tall. The home took seven years to build and features nine elevators, a ballroom, a health club and a mini-theatre.


The first six levels alone make up a parking garage that holds 160 vehicles.

The home reportedly cost nearly a billion dollars to build.

The owner is India's richest man and the world's fourth richest man-- oil and retail tycoon Mukesh Ambani.

He's said to be worth about $27 billion.
